What is The Communion School of Theology & Ministry?

Mission Statement

To form faithful, Spirit-empowered, academically grounded Christian leaders who embody the Anglican tradition rooted in biblical orthodoxy, proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and serve the Church and the world with holiness, humility, and theological depth. We provide accessible, high-quality online education rooted in Scripture, informed by the catholic heritage, and hospitable to diverse liturgical and theological perspectives within the historic Christian faith.

Vision Statement

To become the world’s leading Anglican online seminary, shaping a new generation of pastors, scholars, missionaries, and lay leaders, through integrated spiritual formation, rigorous theological education, and global accessibility. We envision a Church renewed in biblical conviction, sacramental life, evangelistic mission, and intellectual charity.

Meet our President & Executive Director

The Communion School of Theology and Ministry exists to equip believers for faithful service in the Church and mission to the world. Under the leadership of our President and Executive Director, Ven. (Prof.) Godspower Ugboh, CSTM provides a distinctly Anglican formation that is biblically grounded, academically excellent, and deeply rooted in spiritual growth.

Our commitment is to unite theological depth with practical ministry competence in a fully online environment that remains relational, pastoral, and mission-focused. At CSTM, students do not have to choose between academic rigor and spiritual formation. They experience both together through a curriculum shaped by historic Anglican orthodoxy, global mission, and the practical needs of the Church today.

Statement of Faith

At Communion School of Theology and Ministry, our Statement of Faith anchors all we teach and practise. We affirm the authority of Holy Scripture, the historic creeds of the Church, and the Anglican tradition shaped by prayer, sacrament, and mission. Our commitment is to form Christians who think biblically, live faithfully, and serve with integrity. Every program, course, and ministry initiative flows from this foundation. As a community, we seek to uphold the truth of the gospel, the lordship of Jesus Christ, and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Church and the world.
